Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon in Bradenton, FL

Dr. Richard Bindernagel, DO, MBA

Expert Dermatologic Care. Guided by Precision.

magnific__make-this-picture-img1-look-like-it-was-taken-by-a__55358.png

Dr. Richard Bindernagel is a double board-certified dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic (Mohs) surgeon who cares for patients of every age at Harmony Allergy & Dermatology in Bradenton, Florida. He diagnoses and treats acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair loss, skin cancer, and other conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails in children, adults, and seniors, and performs Mohs surgery, the most precise technique available for removing skin cancer while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible.

magnific__change-the-backgroung-in-img1-to-a-white-clinic-ro__94755.png

He completed his dermatology residency through the HCA Healthcare and USF Morsani College of Medicine program in Largo, where he served as Chief Resident and cared for patients throughout the Tampa Bay area, including veterans at the local VA hospital. He also earned an MBA in Healthcare Leadership alongside his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Kansas City University.

Although Dr. Bindernagel always planned to become a dermatologist, opening his own practice came later. After seeing how insurance-based care often limited the time physicians could spend with their patients, he and his wife founded Harmony Allergy & Dermatology to create a practice where thoughtful conversations, careful evaluations, and coordinated specialty care remain at the center of every visit.

Among the most rewarding parts of his work is telling a patient their skin cancer has been completely removed. His goal is for every patient to leave with a clear understanding of their diagnosis, treatment options, and the confidence to move forward.

Allergist, Immunologist and Pediatrician in Bradenton, FL

DR. CONSTANCE BINDERNAGEL, DO, MBA

Expert Allergy & Immunology Care. Guided by Understanding.

Dr. Constance Bindernagel is a double board-certified allergist, immunologist, and pediatrician who provides allergy and immunology specific care for both children and adults at Harmony Allergy & Dermatology in Bradenton, Florida. She treats food allergies, allergic rhinitis, asthma, eosinophilic esophagitis, allergic skin disorders, and immunodeficiencies through thoughtful evaluation, evidence-based testing, and personalized treatment plans, and performs environmental and food allergy testing, supervised oral food challenges, drug allergy testing, patch testing, and allergy immunotherapy.

magnific__change-the-color-of-the-scrubs-in-img1-from-green-__94754.png

She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of South Florida and her fellowship in allergy & immunology through USF at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, where she specialized in pediatric food allergy management. She also earned an MBA in Healthcare Leadership alongside her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Kansas City University.

Dr. Bindernagel always knew she wanted to care for patients with allergies and immune disorders. Opening Harmony Allergy & Dermatology came from recognizing that insurance-based visits often left too little time for the detailed history, testing, and education that allergy care requires. Together with her husband, she built a practice where patients and families have the time, guidance, and support needed to make informed decisions about their care.

One of the most rewarding moments in her practice is seeing a child safely pass an oral food challenge after years of food avoidance. Her goal is for every patient and family to leave with a clear understanding of what is safe, what isn't, and why.

We designed this practice so that nothing stands between you and your physician.

We built this practice around the way we wanted to care for patients. Direct Specialty Care means you reach us without a referral, without an approval, and without waiting for someone outside the room to decide what your care should be.

What that buys back is time. A physician who knows your history before the visit begins, an examination that is not rushed, and a plan you understand before you leave. Medicare patients are welcome, and their benefit works here as it always has.

Care for Every Age in Manatee County

We serve Bradenton and the surrounding Manatee County communities, caring for children, adults, and seniors alike. Skin and allergy conditions do not wait for convenient timing, and neither should the appointment that addresses them. Patients travel to us from Bradenton, West Bradenton, Palmetto, Ellenton, Parrish, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and northern Sarasota. We also see seasonal residents who spend part of the year in Florida.
